Have you ever wondered why you like some colors better than others?  Or you’ll see an item, but you would like it in a different color than what is offered? 
 
It’s because certain colors look better on you than others.  It doesn’t matter what color your eyes, hair, or the outer skin color are.  What matters is the underneath part.  Everyone’s skin has an UNDERTONE of either red or yellow.

Many years ago, people were introduced to certain seasons pertaining with certain colors.  You were either Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter.  If you have a yellow skin undertone, then you will fall into the Spring and Autumn seasons.  If you have a red skin undertone, then Summer and Winter are your seasons.

The same applies here, but with a twist.  Nature is used a little more.  Did you ever wonder why, in general, people wear white only during certain times of the year?  Well, this is a similar concept. 

For example, I’m a Summer season, from those many years ago finding out. Well, have you’ve seen a lot of pink, one of the Summer colors, during Autumn or Winter?  I haven’t.  So basically, I wear my Summer colors mostly in Spring and Summer, and I wear Winter season colors, such as burgundy, during the Autumn and Winter seasons.  This same concept applies to people with the Spring and Autumn colors and seasons.

If you don’t know your season, how can you find out?  There’s many ways, such as getting with friends and comparing different solid colors up against your face.  That’s the best area to check, because people mostly see your face.  I’m sure you can go to professionals who know color, too.  If several people say that you look great in a certain color, that’s usually an indicator as to what season you look best in.
 
Everyone wants to look their best and that’s what this does.  I just make it simpler for you to make the most complimentary choice for you.  It’s also easier for people who want to buy you something too, just tell them your season or make a wish list online, so they can pick what’s right for you

If you absolutely love a certain color that isn’t in your season, for me it’s gold, then as long as it is done in very small quantities compared to the rest of your color palette for that day, then go for it.
